Looking at the picture above , surely you already know it is a tortoise. Some people are keen to preserve this species . But not all can keep the turtle up in accordance with proper care. For those of you who wanted to defend a pair of tortoise , below are the guidance in caring your tortoise properly.

Make sure you change the water when the water in the aquarium is producing an unpleasant smell . Do not let the water in the aquarium is too long because the water has not been turned bad and cause your tortoises are less active . No need to change the water too often.

If possible , place your stone, sand or decorations in your aquarium . This is because the tortoise is an animal that likes sun and does not like very soak . Sometimes they like to be in the water and on land.

Take your time to clean the tortoise 's shell . Rub gently soft - shell tortoise is to avoid these tortoise pain .

You need to work hard for this tortoise basking in the sun or under the lights .
